Project 2025 and the 2024 Election

On August 10th - the Wappinger Democratic Committee completed the last of the Community Conversations on Project 2025 and the 2024 Election. The ToW Dems put together this series to help build community and help fellow neighbors realize they are not alone in feeling scared, angry, resolute – fill in the adjective.

The goal today was to help you understand the stakes of the 2024 election and give you an approach to help you talk to your family, friends and neighbors who may not have been paying attention or see both candidates as the same. We think every concerned citizen needs to do their part in reaching out to family and friends.
