Democratic Candidate For Dutchess County District Attorney

Anthony began his legal career in Dutchess County’s Public Defender's office, representing indigent clients.  Three years later, he became an Assistant District Attorney.  

Subsequently, and for more than 25 years, Anthony Parisi has continued to serve in the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office where he is now the Major Crimes Bureau Chief. 

A lifelong resident of Dutchess County, Anthony is committed to serving everyone equally: pursuing justice for victims, keeping our communities safe, and working for a fairer criminal justice system. 

He’s dedicated his career to fighting gun violence, and preventing crime before it happens through intelligence-led policing and prosecution.  Anthony has always been guided by principles of accountability, integrity, transparency, and justice.

He is intimately familiar with the requirements, demands and operations of the position of District Attorney and the office, and will work diligently to make the office a model of best practices.
